In collaboration with local youth organizations and schools, the Foundation developed and delivered a new art program for at-risk youth at 4 locations in San Mateo County. The goal of the program was to provide meaningful art instruction along with a civic component so that youth understand how public art can enhance a community and foster conversations among residents. Youth in each class collaborated to design and create a piece of public art. Some of the art is now on display at the Sequoia Alley and the Half Moon Bay library.
